Accountant

Salary Range: $750 - $1,100 CAD/month
Revenue Share: Eligible after 1 year
Location: Remote
Work Hours: Full-Time, 8 AM - 5 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST - Canada Time)

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and payroll management
GST/HST filing and WorkSafe BC returns
Preparing and filing T2 returns and slips (T4, T5)
Setting up and managing charts of accounts
Issuing financial statements and meeting with clients to explain and discuss them
Answering financial/accounting-related client inquiries and collaborating with the team to resolve them
Identifying opportunities to help clients save expenses, including taxes
Attending internal meetings and contributing to the team’s success

Qualifications

Experience with Canadian accounting and tax systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Wave accounting software.
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and the team.
A growth mindset with a focus on client success.

Work Conditions

Remote, full-time role.
Work during Canada’s Pacific Standard Time (PST - 8 AM to 5 PM).
